Welcome to the website for the redevelopment of the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH). This site will serve as a resource to interested developers, potential tenants, oversight stakeholders, and the local community. AFRH is currently working to implement its Master Plan to generate much needed revenue that will allow the Home to modernize its facilities and better serve its nearly 1200 miliary veterans who call the Washington AFRH campus their home.

Final Master Plan

AFRH has completed a Master Plan for its Washington Campus to leverage its real estate assets, which will be the basis for facilitating and directing future development by the private sector and AFRH. Private development on the site will create an independent revenue stream for the Home.

Project Justification

The institution needs new sources of revenue to provide appropriate facilities and services to its elderly residents. AFRH is currently developing a Master Plan which will guide development of the institution and revenue-generating development for the next 20 years.
