I-95 North of D.C.

Stay on I-495 ("The Beltway") westbound. Take exit 31 for Silver Spring. Stay on Georgia Avenue through Silver Spring and past Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Turn left on Upshur Street (between 4200 and 4100 block of Georgia Ave). Cross Rock Creek Church Road into the AFRH-W "Eagle Gate" at Upshur Avenue.

I-95 South of D.C.

From I-395, stay on it when it ends at New York Avenue. Turn right on New York Avenue. Go two blocks and make a right onto "M" Street. Go to the second traffic light and make a left onto North Capitol St. NW. Continue on North Capitol, pass the sign to the Armed Forces Retirement Home-Washington. At the second light, Allison St., make a left turn. At the second light make another left turn into the AFRH-W "Eagle Gate" at Upshur Avenue..

From the Annapolis (Route 50 area)

Take Rte 50, which becomes New York Ave. Take the S.Dakota exit. Continue on S. Dakota. Make a left onto Taylor . Taylor becomes Harewood Ave. Take Harewood across North Capitol St. and between AFRH-W and the cemetery. Make a left turn at the traffic signal onto Rock Creek Church Rd. Make a left turn into the AFRH-W's "Eagle Gate" at Upshur Avenue.
