AFRH has submitted its Final Master Plan to NCPC for their review and approval. In preparing its Final Master Plan, AFRH has taken into consideration comments received from NCPC on its draft Master Plan, received through its ongoing public outreach process, information from the environmental review process, and concepts proposed by the selected developer for Zone A. NCPC will consider the Master Plan at its May 1, 2008 meeting.

The Armed Forces Retirement Home submitted its Draft Master Plan for its Washington, DC campus, to the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) on February 2, 2006. NCPC reviews Master Plans for Federal real estate to ensure consistency with NCPC's Comprehensive Plan for the National Capital: Federal Elements.
